Hi!

Welcome! I am so excited you are here!

Chocolate Peppermint Cups

Chocolate Peppermint Cups

I love Reese’s cups, which is why I needed to make these peppermint cups! They are super rich, but VERY GOOD! This recipe is for all my chocolate lovers out there.

This recipe yields about 12 cups. Add more chocolate when melting if you want thicker cups. I tend to do this, because the more chocolate the better!

I hope you enjoy this tasty and simple recipe!

Ingredients:

Chocolate Layer Ingredients:

-1 cup of chocolate chips (2 cups if you want extra thick layers)

*milk or dark chocolate!

-2 tablespoon of melted coconut oil

White Chocolate Layer Ingredients:

-1 cup of white chocolate chips (2 cups if you want extra thick layers)

-2 tablespoon of melted coconut oil

-crushed candy canes for the top!

Directions:

1. Start by lining your muffin tin. This recipe makes approximately 10-12 cups, depending on how thick you make each layer.

2. Melt the chocolate chips on low heat with the coconut oil. Continue until the chocolate is smooth (make sure to stir continuously so it doesn’t burn).

3. Pour approximately 2-3 tablespoons of chocolate to the bottom of each liner. Then place in the freezer for 5 minutes.

*The amount of chocolate is based on how thick you want your cups. So whatever works for you!

*Thinner cups are easier to bite into, but I am all about the extra chocolate!

4. In another small pot, melt the white chocolate chips with the coconut oil on low heat. Continue until the white chocolate is smooth (make sure to stir continuously so it doesn’t burn).

5. Take the cups out of the freezer.

6. Pour approximately 2-3 tablespoons of the white chocolate onto the frozen milk chocolate.

7. Top it off with crushed candy canes.

8. Place the tin back in the freezer for at least one hour.

*I find that a few hours is best.

*Make sure to let the cups sit out for a little before biting into them : )

ENJOY!
