Alright y’all, I have decided to make all my recipes for the month of October themed…which means that my next 13 recipes will be Halloween themed! So when I think of Halloween, I think of pumpkins! So all of my October recipes will contain pumpkin in some way.
I also decided on 13 days or 13 recipes, because 13 is supposed to be spooky and I am trying to stay on theme here!
So first up for my October themed month is…Pumpkin Spice Coffee or Latte!
Aka yum!!!!
We all get that craving during the month of October for a pumpkin spiced latte. Whether it be from a coffee shop or Starbucks…we always get that craving (or at least I do).
I was getting really tired of spending money on delicious coffee drinks and realized it might just be easier and cheaper if I made it at home every now and then. So here I am with an awesome and quick recipe for the perfect pumpkin spiced coffee or latte.
So try it out! A healthier and cheaper way to drink pumpkin spiced coffee or latte!
Ingredients:
-3 cups of soy milk
-3/4 cup of canned pumpkin
-1/3 cup of coconut sugar
-1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
-1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
-1 and ½ cup of coffee or expresso
-Whip cream if desired
Directions:
1. Add the milk, pumpkin, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg to a saucepan. Heat and stir over medium heat (do this until the contents are heated well).
2. Stir in the coffee or expresso.
3. Pour contents into mug and add whip cream to the top!
